MALIBU BEACH is adjacent to the city centre. The buildings that are visible from the beach are a blend of period and modern properties and are in reasonable condition. The natural beach environment is relatively flat . The sand is very fine and white. The beach is very clean. The seawater is a beautiful shade of light blue and is crystal clear. The water is very clean. MALIBU BEACH is a continuous beach but it is quite narrow. The beach slopes somewhat. There are places to eat and drink within a stone’s throw of the beach. There is limited access to the beach from the public road. Therefore, beach parking is restricted.
